Father, husband, singer-songwriter based in Hudson, New York (USA). That's in upstate New York, so it's farms, small towns and cities, not skyscrapers. My music is mostly acoustic guitar-driven but I use a variety of instrumentation, including vibraphone, accordion, clarinet and dulcimer in addition to guitar, bass, drums and synthesizers.
I'm not the greatest singer, but I get the songs across.
My latest effort is the album Cairn, released March 6, 2024. (Read more about Cairn)
In addition to my solo work, I play electric guitar in the Poughkeepsie, NY-based folk-rock band, The Warp/The Weft.
I am also half of the duo, Teeniest.
I wrote William Blake and Allen Ginsberg: Poets of a Fallen World, Prophets of the New World years ago and continue to feel the gravitational pull of that area of knowledge and how it intersects with new theories on consciousness.
